Tarcutta, Wagga Wagga and Kooringal

The Cross and Icon came to the Shrine of Divine Mercy at Tarcutta this morning for Confession, Mass and a procession. Although this was a small gathering those gathered enjoyed the presence of these Symbols amongst them.

At St Michael's Cathedral in Wagga Wagga many people came to celebrate Mass with Bishop Hanna. We were especially glad to meet the seminarians from Vianney College and residents from St Francis College at Charles Sturt Uni.

There was a youth festival at Sacred Heart parish in Kooringal with youth bands and stalls. It was wonderful to chat to some of the local youth after they venerated the Cross. They celebrated a youth Mass before farewelling the Cross and Icon at 7:15.

At Our Lady of Fatima Parish, a wonderful procession took place. The Cross was taken to Calvary Hospital and The Cancer Care unit where the procession was joined by medical staff. Here they prayed for all of the sick in their community.
