The Cross & Icon’s first full day in the Wagga Wagga Diocese began with an early start with morning mass at North Albury, before going to Xavier School. The next stop for the Cross & Icon was Holy Spirit School, Lavington, where the primary school children led a remarkable re-enactment of the Stations of the Cross. 
The Cross & Icon then made their way out to Thurgoona for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament before heading to Culcairn for a BBQ and community celebration.
In every location today it was great to see so many young people attending the events and leading the proceedings and to see the communities come together around these great symbols of faith. Thanks to all the friendly faces we met today – we pray that your journey towards World Youth Day will continue to draw your whole communities closer together.
